Bardryn Torunn, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has no hair. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Bardryn was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

Personal [hide]
Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nemeia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Nemeia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nemeia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Tiefling compassion.
