Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Volen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Fenriz was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spy. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
