History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
