History: Born in the east to a Mayor, Melissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Bowyer; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
