Personality: Spear hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Spear enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
