Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a mason and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
