He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Tordrid was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Tordrid alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Emerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Arava was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She has worked as a Laborer like her father before her.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult
