History: Althaea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Cartwright. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many goblins want her driven away

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mary does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
