Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She wears her black hair down. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born in the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thiala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
