Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: Pog was born with his mother's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Pog's homeland. Pog decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's in love
