Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair is white and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gunter was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
