History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tordek grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tordek. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born in the north to a Fisher, Malquis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
