He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. Her moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mumpena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and halfling compassion
