History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gormogord was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Lavinia was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people.
