History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing his hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult
