Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Lia hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is dark but she possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. She has wavy auburn hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Meena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Meena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Meena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and wants a kiss
