History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Iados grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Iados. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
