Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Painter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
