History: Thodris lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Bendoo wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
