History: Ratanák was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. After a long history of fighting, Shedinn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
