When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oppleby grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Detective, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.
