History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her blue crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes are gold.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Surina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Surina was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she is wracked by social anxiety
