History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Dûsh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dûsh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Koeth is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Koeth lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Koeth was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Koeth was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.
