Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
