History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Aline and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Gifted from a young age, Krakhorn studied abroad. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Krakhorn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and revenge

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
