History: Born to a Sailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. A gifted student she started as a Navigator, but she got bored and became a Shipwright. She tends to her Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
