History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roywyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she has money and likes to spend it
