History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nora was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Nora was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nora's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Ella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Yurk speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Yurk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.
