History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Oda isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Oda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Oda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She struck the Mercenary job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her black crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her eyes are likewise red.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and an old rival family wants her found
