History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Sailor father left him crippled. During his travels, Ûkrom and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ûkrom discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ûkrom fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears an entirely tan suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. A true patriot, Arumawann would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and further expansion of business
