Description: She is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a morningstar on her belt. She has a hunchback. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her silver hair is greasy and uncared for. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eida embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wants to work out more often

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He carries with him a set of scimitars, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Soveliss was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fletcher. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion
