Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kilvar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Nirgel was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Menny hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
