History: Serpent was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hagren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hagren. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Balam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
