Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Marigold isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. During her travels, Marigold and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Marigold discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Marigold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
