History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has a long auburn ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Vani isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and retire the richest woman in the south

Description: This southern man is dressed in an above average manner. His clothes are grease stained in places. His blue hair has been sun bleached extensively. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Barakas embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he's repulsed by the pc
