He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Ethereal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ethereal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.
