Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Tomi enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to settle down with his crush

History: He comes from a rich western family. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a black armored body suit, with a simple grey line shooting up and back down. Her hair is cut close to her head. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She struck the Herbalist job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.
