A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Vanuath lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Vanuath was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
