Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His red leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. This gold eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mehen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her yellow fur is greasy and uncared for. Her ears are large.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. Her yellow fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has gleaming, smiling copper eyes.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Marshal, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To protect her home; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a kukri on his belt. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the right. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Dorn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep father left him crippled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dorn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle
