History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

History: Emerald was born with his father's beautiful face. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is a Bowyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Five learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Five grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Five. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Tharivol was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
