History: Kite lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
