History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Sapply was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Pirithin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Warrior school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to share knowledge with the world
