Description: This man tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is golden and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Aerdeth was born the youngest of three triplets. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. She wears a black vest and prefers white and brown shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has a hunchback. Her brown hair is cut short. She has a dull look in her violet eyes.

Personality: She is a Unemployed first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: She has a missing left arm. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Locksmith who has hired her part-time. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Philomena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.
