Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chay does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Chay was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When Chay reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: She wears dull brown sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed shortspear, just in case. She carries with her a set of shortspears, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is her passion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, green shirt, and yellow tie. She has moderate length black hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she's repulsed by the pc

Description: She is wearing a long, brown cloak. Her fur, while still mostly yellow, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To be a Detective again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
