She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born in the east. Dreali was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Dagnal was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She tends to her Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
