History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Mardnab reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has taken up work as a Crown-heir and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new crown-heir responsibilities is difficult
