History: She was born in a small desert village. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. During her travels, Hethress and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hethress discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hethress fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to be a doctor again

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
