History: Glim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the south
