History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Trag was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Trag's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Therlin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Therlin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Therlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
