History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Nagrette alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting drow, the young Ranala began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
